DAY OF MECHANIZATION FOR STUDENTS

Karlow-Karlshof a.s. and Karlow-Karlshof Agro s.r.o. organized in cooperation with the School of Agriculture (Post-Secondary Vocational School of Ecological Agriculture) so called "Day of Mechanization for Students" that took place in Karlov on 18th October 2024.

As part of this program, the companies presented their visions of agricultural sustainability to the students of the Agricultural School and showed them how regenerative agriculture can be implemented in practice. The students gained from this experience many new insights, ranging from theoretical to practical knowledge about soil cultivation and how the soil can be managed more gently by choosing a right agricultural machine.

This meeting was not only a great inspiration for both parties, but perhaps also the beginning of a longer-term cooperation. The common philosophy of these two companies is that land is not an inexhaustible resource, but a value that is not adequately appreciated. They believe that the land should be managed in such a way that it remains fertile for generations to come, which is why they consider education of young people in this direction to be so important. The companies plan to continue in cooperation with the academic sphere within this direction in the future.

We are already looking forward to the next meeting with other students of agriculture, which is planned on 2nd November 2024.
