The Technical Committee for Forestry Work and Forest Technology in the Austrian Forestry Association and the agricultural chamber of Upper Austria awarded an innovation prize for the first time at this year’s Austrofoma. To JENZ’s great delight, the HEM 821 DQ Cobra+ hybrid was awarded an excellent 3rd place. “After two years of development work, we were able to prezent a convincing concept with its combination of a good all-round view, comfortable workplace, manoeuvrable chassis and powerful chipper” said General Manager Uwe Hempen-Hermeier with considerable satisfaction. Around 150 exhibitors at the biggest forestry technology show in Austria registered a total of 39 innovations from which the jury nominated 13 products, which included products from Stihl, Komatsu Forest and Pfanzelt. Places 1 and 2 were awarded to Koller Forsttechnik and Epsilon Kran GmbH. Norbert Goldnagl (General Manager JENZ Österreich) accepted the prize.
